All PCA employees are required to complete Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Individualized PCA Training as mandated by the legislature on January 1st, 2010. The online training course is now available and is free of charge. To register for training you must have a valid email address where you will receive your training certificate. The training will take approximately 30-45 minutes. ALL existing PCAs must complete this training as soon as possible. For any new hire, the training must be completed before they begin working. The certificate is valid for all PCA providers that PCA's work for, just fax, email or mail us a copy of the certificate.

Ability Care Partner's PCA employees are now required to complete Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Individualized PCA Training as of Sept. 1st, 2010.

The PCA Training Certification was mandated by the MN legislature on January 1st 2010 and has recently become available online free of charge. PCA's must pass with at least an 80% score (the test can be taken numerous times until a passing score is achieved). The certificate is valid for all PCA providers that PCA's work for, just fax, email or mail us a copy of the certificate.

ALL existing PCAs must complete this training as soon as possible.

For any new hire, the training must be completed during the application process before they begin working.
